Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Security Guard to protect the campus, residents and staff. The role involves patrolling buildings and grounds, controlling access, and responding to emergencies on the security shift, including contacting 911 when needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least two years of security experience, a valid California Security License, a good driving record, and First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Two years of security or related experience preferred.
• California Security License required for CA candidates.
• First aid certification or higher recommended.
• English reading/writing proficiency essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency call system and notify on-call personnel as required.
• Secure and monitor all exterior doors and security equipment; conduct patrols of campus.
• Monitor vehicle traffic and enforce campus policies; respond to incidents and write reports.
