Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Security Guard to protect the campus, residents, and staff. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring equipment, responding to emergencies, and enforcing safety policies across all buildings.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in security, a valid driver’s license, and First Aid certification. The role requires strong English communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions.

Qualifications

• High school education is required.
• Two years of security or related work experience.
• Current state driver’s license and a good driving record; CDL preferred.
• First aid certification and experience in emergency medical situations.
• Ability to read and write in English; clear communication with residents and staff.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation; able to work with elderly residents.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions; reliable and observant.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions; CA candidates must have a CA security license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency call system and notify on-call personnel when needed.
• Call 911 in emergencies and coordinate with responders.
• Patrol and secure all buildings and exterior doors; monitor security equipment.
• Maintain campus safety and enforce traffic policies for campus vehicles.
• Write and distribute incident reports; log maintenance requests in WorxHub.
• Provide non-security resident services as needed and directed by leadership.
