Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer (Full Time) in Castle Hayne, NC. The role includes roving patrols on campus, camera and access point monitoring, and responding to incidents with professional communication.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work night shifts. A background check and drug screen will be conducted as part of employment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience (preferred).
• A valid driver’s license is required by policy.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while following site procedures and emergency plans.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations; notify campus contacts and responders as directed.
• Perform regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity; report suspicious behavior and policy violations per site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain documentation related to patrols and incidents.
