Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Castle Hayne, NC. You will patrol campus areas, deter incidents, and provide a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills. Schedule: Sat 2:00 PM–10:00 PM and Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with a pay rate of $15.00/hour. Benefits include flexible shifts and the chance to join a leading security team.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license as per Allied Universal policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other events calmly and professionally per campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate information to supervisors and campus personnel as needed.
