Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Roving Patrol Driver in Castle Hayne, NC. You will monitor campus areas, deliver customer service, and drive patrol routes, maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents and ensure safety.

You will follow campus procedures, respond to alarms, and complete incident reports. This role requires a valid driver's license and compliance with company policies. Allied Universal offers growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Roving Patrol Driver in Castle Hayne, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a college campus, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.
