Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Guard (Unarmed) in Castle Hayne, NC. The role includes campus patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents to maintain a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, at least 6 months of security-related experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. 18+ for unarmed roles. This is a part-time daytime/evening schedule with potential to claim additional shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and campus protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other events in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate information to supervisors and campus personnel.
