North Carolina State University is seeking a Recruiting Support Specialist to assist CALS Academic Programs by fostering outreach to prospective students, coordinating recruitment events, and supporting a range of communications and data tasks. The role supports CALS in attracting a diverse and qualified student body for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Competenze

• : Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• : All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
• : Event planning and/or project management experience.
• : Experience working with a student information database system.

Mansioni

• : Develop and maintain effective communication with prospective students, applicants, parents/guardians, school counselors and other partners to help identify, recruit, and enroll a new student class each year.
• : Coordinate CALS Spend a Day at State visitation and recruitment program, communicate with faculty/staff to set up department meetings and class observations, prepare student schedules, put together info packets, oversee “Pack Chat” initiative, mail student postcards, manage and evaluate post-program assessments.
• : Input and assess student information in Slate, the University’s prospective student database management system.
• : Manage CALS Nominate a Student website and database (manage the database, follow up with prospective students, track applicants, analyze rural, county tier, and other data points).
• : Provide professional recruiting presentations on an as needed basis; assist Recruiting Team by helping represent CALS through participation in occasional college fairs, receptions, open house events, etc.
