Job summary

Middle Tennessee State University’s Campus Recreation department seeks a Coordinator - Campus Rec to provide executive-level operational support to the Director and oversee daily operations of the Campus Rec Center. The role includes managing confidential information, budgeting, and reporting across multiple areas with approximately $2.9 million in annual funds.

The incumbent will handle all employment processes for over 165 student employees and 19 staff, leveraging the Oracle employment suite

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• One year of progressively responsible secretarial/administrative office experience including accounting, bookkeeping, or office management.
• Note: a high school diploma/equivalency with four years of related experience, or an Associate's degree with two years of related experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level operational support for the Director of Campus Recreation and oversee daily operations of the Campus Rec Center.
• Coordinate financial, personnel, and operational processes across Campus Recreation, including confidential information, policy compliance, and budget monitoring for ~ $2.9M in annual funds.
• Manage employment processes for 165 student employees and 19 professional/para-professional staff; utilize Oracle employment suite for workflow management, EPAFs, onboarding, records.
