Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking Intern Undergraduate and Masters Scientists and Engineers for Research and Development (R&D) roles across North America, including the U.S. Midwest and PA sites.

Interns will support one or two projects, partnering with scientists to drive outcomes and gain exposure to both fundamental and applied research. You will contribute to product, process, and application development while collaborating with Dow teams to solve diverse chemical and materials challenges.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred GPA of 3.000 (on a 4.000 scale).

Responsibilities

• Support one or two projects in R&D and partner with research scientists to drive projects to completion.
• Collaborate with project teams to solve chemical- and material-related problems through fundamental and applied research.
• Projects span from product research to process research to application development.
• Reliable attendance and transportation are expected.
