Job summary

Dow Inc. in the United States offers intern opportunities for Undergraduate and Masters Scientists and Engineers within Research and Development (R&D).

Interns support one or two projects in R&D and will partner with research scientists to drive these projects to completion. You will work with collaborative project teams to solve chemical- and material-related problems through both fundamental and applied research.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, or other related discipline.
• A U.S. based position requires the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship is available.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred GPA 3.000 (on a 4.000 scale).

Responsibilities

• Support one or two projects in R&D and partner with research scientists to drive these projects to completion.
• Work with collaborative project teams to solve chemical- and material-related problems through fundamental and applied research.
• Projects span from product research to process research to application development.
