Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking motivated interns in Undergraduate or Masters programs to join our Research and Development teams across North America, including Pennsylvania. You will support one or two projects in R&D and collaborate with research scientists to drive them to completion.

Projects span product research, process research, and application development, offering hands-on experience in chemistry, materials science, and engineering while reinforcing our safety-first culture and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, or other related discipline.
• Must have legal ability to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available for this position.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred GPA of 3.000 (on a 4.000 scale).
• Reliability in attendance and transportation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support one or two projects in R&D and partner with research scientists to drive projects to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to solve chemical- and material-related problems through both fundamental and applied research.
• Work on projects spanning product research, process research, and application development.
