Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks Intern Undergraduate and Masters Scientists and Engineers for its Research and Development (R&D) function in North America, including Pennsylvania. Interns will support one or two R&D projects and partner with research scientists to advance them to completion.

You will join collaborative project teams to tackle chemical- and material-related challenges across product, process and application development, gaining broad technical experience while learning Dow's safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Preferred: minimum GPA 3.000 on a 4.000 scale.

Responsibilities

• Support one or two projects in R&D and partner with research scientists to drive projects to completion.
• Collaborate with project teams to solve chemical- and material-related problems through fundamental and applied research.
• Contribute to product research, process research and application development.
