St.-John is seeking an Assistant Director of Public Safety Operations for the Queens campus. You will own operational execution, ensure staffing standards, supervise teams, and approve event security plans within delegated authority.

In this role you will coordinate daily deployments, oversee inspections, and lead emergency response efforts, collaborating with campus partners to maintain safe and secure events, facilities, and communities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Significant experience in public safety or campus security operations.
• Supervisory experience with staffing, deployment, and performance management.
• Experience planning or overseeing events and risk-based deployments.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication for plans and inspections.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily Queens campus operations, staffing coverage, and redeployments.
• Provide supervision and coaching, align evaluations with standards.
• Conduct post inspections, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate emergency response and provide updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with campus partners on event planning and readiness; report trends.
