You will lead the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of all training programs for officers, serving as the department's subject matter expert on training, onboarding, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness. Responsibilities include creating training plans, lesson materials, maintaining training records, coordinating annual in-service training, and

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of experience in public safety, law enforcement, security, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of training and instructional experience.
• Valid New York State Security Guard License; valid Driver License.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree; CPR/AED Instructor certification; higher education public safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Public Safety Officer Training Program.
• Create annual, quarterly, and monthly training plans.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and evaluate all in-service training programs.
• Develop lesson plans, training materials, practical exercises, field training guides, and training assessments.
• Maintain a department-wide training calendar and training records management system.
