Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• APCO certification or eligibility to obtain one.
• Typing, computer skills and data entry proficiency.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with radio and data systems used by police dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch police, fire, and medical calls.
• Operate a centralized CAD system and radio communications.
• Document actions and outcomes in CAD; maintain logs and records.
• Provide information to campus police and external agencies as needed.
• Assist in monitoring and coordinating emergency responses and alerts.
