Genesiscareers in Rutland, Vermont seeks a People Strategy Partner to drive retention and culture across a pod of nearby nursing centers. You’ll spend 90% on the front lines, coaching leaders and building teams where staff feel seen, heard, and valued.

The role requires a bachelor’s in HR, 5+ years in healthcare HR, and SHRM/PHR certification preferred. You’ll align corporate HR with local needs to ensure fair, compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant HR experience, ideally in healthcare or multi-site operations.
• Proven knowledge of HR disciplines including compensation, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment law.
• PHR or SHRM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead retention initiatives to reduce turnover and improve employee experience.
• Coach Nursing Home Administrators and site leaders to develop high-performing teams.
• Bridge corporate HR policies with local needs to ensure equity and compliance.
• Drive an employee journey that values, respects, and supports staff.
