Job summary

The University Of Nebraska Omaha Parking and Transit Services seeks a public-facing Parking Attendant to assist visitors attending events on campus. You will operate the parking booth, greet guests, manage reservations, and direct vehicles to available lots in a courteous, efficient manner.

The role is part-time 25 hours/week, Monday through Friday 2:30 pm – 7:30 pm, paying $15.00 hourly. Requires high school education, one year of customer service experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Education or equivalent.
• Required Experience: One year of customer service experience and one year of experience with databases, computer programs, and devices.
• Required License/Certification: Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate parking booth equipment and greet guests with parking information and rules.
• Direct guests to parking options and manage overflow in coordination with Parking and Transit Manager.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide consistent parking service and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain knowledge of campus buildings, parking locations, and rules.
