Job summary

University of Nebraska–Lincoln is hiring for Hospitality Services Attendant/Assistant/Sr. Associate for a 10:30pm–7:00am shift, Wednesday through Sunday, in Campus Recreation.

The role involves cleaning housing facilities, offices, and public areas, with opportunities to assist in events and supervise others. You will help maintain safe, welcoming environments for students, staff, and guests, handling chemicals, operating non-autonomous equipment, and responding to on-call situations as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be available via cell phone during working hours.
• Must understand cleaning chemicals and their application and dilution ratios.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning and upkeep across housing facilities.
• Maintains offices, residential halls, public areas, bathrooms, conference rooms, and dining centers.
• Ensures a clean, safe environment for all guests.
• Cleans hard floors and carpets.
• Mixes cleaning solutions as directed.
• Assists with event setup and conference operations as needed.
• Train and oversee work of others.
• Respond to on-call duties and other emergency situations during shifts.
• Use all non-riding and non-autonomous equipment.
• Order supplies.
