Job summary

City of Omaha seeks part-time Visit Omaha Event Staff Workers to welcome visitors, check passes, assist with parking, and help ensure operations run smoothly at public events or the Visitor Center. You will greet guests, provide information, and coordinate staff assignments under supervision.

The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, delivers excellent customer service, and can work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings; prior hospitality exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors in person and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Takes tickets at entrances and holds tickets for late arrivals.
• Assists with operating elevators and helps guests on and off safely.
• Directs guests to park cars in assigned areas to conserve space.
