Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Parking Services Representative on the UT Main Campus. You will handle cash receipts, issue parking permits, and assist customers with various parking-related services.

Responsibilities include operating department software, auditing permits, balancing cash drawers, and providing exceptional customer service to staff and visitors. Must have a Class C driver's license and compliant driving record; work shifts vary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Four (4) years experience as a cashier in a large-scale operation.
• Four (4) years experience with large-scale receipt, disbursement and recording cash payments or handling cash transactions.
• Experience using a personal computer and clerical functions.
• Experience participating as a team member and providing excellent customer service.
• Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License.
• Applicant must provide driving record; Texas residency rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Sells permits and other parking items to customers and processes payments.
• Drives UT vehicles as needed and may work across campus.
• Operates multiple departmental software systems and office machines.
• Performs audits of permits and access cards and compiles reports.
• Balances cash drawer and provides excellent customer service.
