Auburn University at Montgomery is seeking a student leader to support Orientation and transitions as the face of AUM for new students and families. You will assist with orientation sessions, campus events, and communications to admitted students, while balancing your academic responsibilities.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and professional interaction with staff, students, and families across multiple events throughout 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student at Auburn University at Montgomery with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisors and staff.
• Time management to balance school, work, and personal life.
• Highest level of professionalism and multitasking ability.
• Willingness to receive feedback and grow.

Responsabilités

• Represent the university professionally at Orientation Sessions and Campus Events.
• Attend Friday trainings and Orientation sessions through Spring, Summer, and Fall 2026.
• Work with SWOT Team and follow directions from SWOT Force Leaders.
• Be on time for all orientation sessions and setup days.
• Assist with setup, facilitation, and breakdown of campus events.
• Assist with office work in the Student Affairs Department (minimum 2–5 hours per week during peak seasons).
• Make orientation outreach calls to admitted students and engage on social media.
• Register admitted students for orientation sessions.
• Facilitate small group sessions during orientation.
• Lead campus tours.
• Contribute to orientation planning and student/parent engagement.
• Be engaged and present at all times.
