Job summary

KIPP DC is seeking a School Operations Manager to join the Information & Operations team. The role is full-time and on-site at a PK3-8 campus, with a starting salary range of $71,305–$77,504.

The position focuses on school-wide operations, including food service, facilities, and logistics for events, while partnering with a Campus Director of Operations. A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee school-wide systems including meal service, logistics for off-site field trips and on-site events.
• Assist in finance-related tasks: budget monitoring, purchasing processes, and invoicing.
• Oversee facilities maintenance, safety and campus aesthetics.
• Collaborate with Campus Director of Operations to implement school-wide operations vision and annual planning.
• Ensure readiness for emergencies and support staff training and drills.
