Job summary

KIPP NYC is seeking a School Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across our NYC public charter schools. The role ensures student arrival, attendance, enrollment targets, facilities and technology systems are in good working order, and safety protocols are followed.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the SOM will supervise the School Operations Administrator, run cross-school events, and partner with the nurse and DOO on special projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations management including student arrival, attendance, transitions, lunch/recess, and dismissal.
• Coordinate enrollment targets, recruitment, and enrollment processes.
• Manage the School Operations Administrator (SOA) and supervise regular check-ins.
• Monitor student health and safety protocols and liaise with the school nurse and DOO.
• Collaborate with the DOO on special projects, events, and continuous improvement.
