Job summary

KIPP New Jersey seeks a Bilingual (Spanish/English) School Operations Manager to oversee student information systems, enrollment, registration, attendance, and family communications across Newark and partner sites.

The SOM drives school-wide operations, collaborates with the Student Support Team, and reports to the Director of School Operations. Fluency in Spanish/English and strong organizational skills are essential; hybrid work with on-site days is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Database management and reporting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and organization.
• Excellent customer service orientation with families and children.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student registration, enrollment, and records.
• Manage attendance and progress reports.
• Maintain and communicate with families via calls, newsletters, and events.
• Oversee enrollment processes and recruitment activities.
• Liaise with vendors and school staff to support operations.
