The University of Virginia's College at Wise is seeking an Operation Assistant to support the general operations of Newcomb Hall. This role involves providing customer service, assisting with event setups, and performing administrative tasks.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. Pay is $13.91 per hour, and candidates must be current UVA students.

Qualifications

• Current UVA student.
• No prior experience is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Staff 3rd floor Service Desk to support urgent event needs.
• Provide directions/information to guests entering on 3rd floor.
• Enforce policies and procedures and ensure client compliance.
• Complete setups, breakdowns, and resets in all event spaces.
• Assist with monitoring event spaces for proper use.
• Complete daily rounds and communicate needs to professional staff.
• Provide administrative support for operations.
