Job summary

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks on its Madison, WI campus. The role involves evaluating technology, influencing infrastructure changes, and implementing modern switching, routing, and firewall configurations.

You’ll use Terraform and Ansible for IaC and collaborate in a small team to keep Epic serving major healthcare organizations. Relocation assistance is provided to Madison, WI, and relocation costs are reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with switches, routers, access points, and UPSes.
• Cisco hardware experience; CCNA/CCNP certification is a plus.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area required (reimbursed).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• COVID-19 vaccination

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes to Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Configure firewall rules and design/troubleshoot WAN connectivity.
• Leverage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Work as part of a small, collaborative team to keep Epic running for healthcare clients.
