Job summary

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks from our Madison, WI area campus, with relocation assistance provided. You’ll evaluate technology, influence changes to Epic’s internal infrastructure, and manage a diverse set of Cisco and other vendors.

The role emphasizes infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible, firewall configuration, WAN design, and hands-on troubleshooting in a collaborative team that keeps healthcare networks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with switches, routers, access points, or UPSes.
• CCNA or CCNP certification preferred.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area reimbursed.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or preference.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Configure firewall rules and design/troubleshoot WAN connectivity.
• Leverage infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Work in a small, collaborative team to keep Epic's network running for healthcare customers.
