Job summary

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. You will influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure and work with Cisco and other vendors in a global network environment. The role includes implementing modern switching/routing platforms, firewall configurations, and WAN design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• History of academic and professional success.
• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and/or UPSes.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or provided as policy.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Configure firewall rules and design/troubleshoot WAN connectivity.
• Leverage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
