Job summary

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. You will evaluate technologies and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure. The role covers enterprise Cisco gear, WAN design, and security rule configuration, with a strong emphasis on IaC using Terraform and Ansible.

Relocation to Madison, WI is reimbursed, and Epic offers a collaborative campus culture with growth opportunities and benefits. Eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and/or UPSes.
• Proficiency with Cisco enterprise hardware preferred; CCNA or CCNP certification helpful.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support Epic's campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Design and troubleshoot WAN connectivity and security rules.
• Leverage infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for deployments.
• Collaborate in a small team to keep Epic's network up and running for healthcare customers.
