Job summary

William & Mary is seeking a Moving & Events Services Worker to support moving and event operations on campus. You will load and unload furniture, assemble and disassemble items, and assist with inventory records and logistics, responding to work orders and ensuring timely setup and teardown for events.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift heavy items (75+ lbs with assistance), and willingness to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays with

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with two years of driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
• Effective reading, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests and perform moving and event services per work orders.
• Load/unload furniture, assemble/disassemble, and set up event items.
• Provide support for waste, snow removal, and emergency recovery.
