Job summary

The Facilities Move Crew at University of West Georgia is looking for capable student assistants. You may work up to 29 hours weekly during the semester or up to 40 hours during Spring, Fall, and Summer breaks.

You must drive a University vehicle and have a valid license, with required training videos completed. You will move furniture, boxes, and other items as campus partners need, and assist with tables and chairs setup and teardown for campus events, indoors or outdoors in all weather,

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at least half-time at UWG with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Valid drivers license and an acceptable driver history.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds by yourself.
• Must wear close toed footwear while working.

Responsibilities

• Move furniture, boxes, supplies, or any number of other items as campus partners have the need.
• Help set up and take down tables and chairs for campus events.
• Drive a University vehicle with required training.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
