University of West Georgia is seeking a Federal Work Study Student Assistant for Newnan Student Services. This part-time, temporary role supports daily operations by assisting students, parents, faculty, staff, and community members with UWG-related questions and needs.

The position involves proctoring exams, processing documentation for various departments, event planning assistance, Canva promotional work, and attendance tracking for Wolf Connect.

Qualifications

• Must be Federal Work Study eligible.
• Must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Must be able to work a flexible 20-hour schedule each week (two 8-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift, Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

Responsibilities

• Assist students, parents, faculty, staff and community members with university-related questions and needs.
• Proctor exams and support Newnan Testing Services.
• Plan and carry out weekly student engagement events, create promotional materials in Canva, support social media, track attendance in Wolf Connect.
