Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Michigan driver’s license and an acceptable driving record when driving is required.
• Experience in mail services, shipping and receiving, logistics, inventory tracking, or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, document, sort, distribute mail and packages according to procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, track packages, report discrepancies.
• Protect confidentiality, security, and integrity of mail and related information.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with courier services.
• Operate mail-processing equipment safely and follow safety procedures.
• Provide courteous assistance to faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
• Complete duties accurately and within established timeframes; inform supervisor of delays.
• Maintain a clean, safe mailroom and use proper lifting practices.
