Job summary

UCLA Campus Life seeks a Manager of Training & Compliance to lead a coordinated training and compliance program for all Campus Life departments. The role includes assessment, development and delivery of staff training, and ensuring preparedness for emergencies across students, faculty and staff.

You will collaborate with leadership, manage an electronic records system, and support Respondent Services as needed, maintaining strict policy adherence and governance.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact effectively with a diverse population including students, staff, faculty, administrators, family and the community from a variety of cultural, educational, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Ability to analyze data, evaluate programs and procedures, interpret information to convey consequences and recommend courses of action. Ability to research and stay current with policy and procedures.
• Knowledge of safety and emergency protocol and procedures to direct others in an emergency.
• Detailed knowledge of programming and training concepts; experience creating and managing electronic records for compliance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, advise campus leadership, de-escalate, and respond to dynamic situations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage training, compliance, and emergency preparedness programs across Campus Life.
• Assess training effectiveness, ensure mandatory trainings, and maintain records.
• Support Respondent Services and provide guidance to faculty, staff, and student respondents.
