Job summary

University of California, Los Angeles is seeking a Manager of Training & Compliance to lead training, compliance assessment, and emergency preparedness across Campus Life. You will ensure mandatory trainings are completed, support Respondent Services, and drive staff development initiatives.

The role emphasizes collaboration with campus leadership, safety protocols, and program evaluation to support student services and campus engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or minimum 2 years of professional experience in training and development.
• Certified instructor in CPR/First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens (preferred).
• Possession of valid CA Driver's License and ability to operate a University vehicle in the course of performing job duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement training, compliance, assessment and emergency preparedness programs for Campus Life.
• Ensure training compliance for mandatory and area-specific trainings for all employees in the Division.
• Assist with Respondent Services providing support to faculty, staff, and student respondents as needed.
• Develop, implement and assess staff development and emergency preparedness programs delivered to all staff.
• Lead cross-functional teams and advise campus leadership, including de-escalation and crisis response when needed.
