Job summary

NC State University in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Landscape Construction Project Manager to plan, manage, and close out landscape construction projects across campus. You will coordinate with designers, contractors, and Facilities leadership to deliver high-quality outdoor spaces on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, project management experience, strong communication, and knowledge of landscape construction, irrigation, and stormwater controls.

• Bachelor's degree in the assigned discipline or equivalent
• Project management experience and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organization skills

Responsibilities

• Manage landscape construction projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
• Track scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and progress using AiM and shared docs.
• Coordinate with designers, consultants, contractors, and Facilities leadership to meet standards.
• Develop and update SOPs to improve project delivery.
• Maintain project documentation including contracts, bids, warranties, and closeout materials.
• Provide timely status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Build relationships with Grounds Leadership and internal campus partners.
• Ensure projects meet university standards and best practices.
• Conduct site inspections to verify designs and quality.
• Assist in design reviews and plan document comprehension.
