Job summary

NC State University is seeking a Landscape Construction Project Manager to oversee campus landscape projects from planning through closeout. You will work with university PMs, designers, consultants, and Facilities leadership to keep projects on schedule and within budget while following university standards.

The role requires expertise in landscape construction, horticulture, hardscaping, irrigation, and stormwater systems, with a focus on delivering safe, functional, and sustainable outdoor

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally with supervisors and the public.
• Requires project management experience.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations is required.
• Must be physically able to inspect areas needing ladder access and bending.

Responsibilities

• Manage landscape construction projects from planning and design through construction and final closeout.
• Monitor scope, schedules, budgets, milestones and overall progress.
• Track project information using AiM, shared docs, and team tools.
• Provide updates to stakeholders and leadership on status and issues.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, and internal Facilities teams.
• Develop and update SOPs to improve delivery of projects.
