Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Cook or Food Prep in a restaurant, commercial, or institutional facility.
• Experience operating cooking equipment.
• Experience following recipes.
• Ability to complete and maintain Food Safety Training required by University Housing and Dining.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of all types of food items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner utilizing commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines and maintain temperature logs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service and customer interactions.
• Adhere to UHD/UT policies and complete required food safety training.
