Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cook to prepare and present a variety of hot and cold dishes for all meal periods and events. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring adherence to culinary standards, safety, and sanitation, while supporting teamwork and efficient service.

The role requires basic food-handling knowledge, reading recipes, and reliability in a busy dining environment. Flexible shifts and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality food service.
• Follow recipes and directions for preparing soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts.
• Estimate food requirements and check production to plan production and supplies.
• Significant walking or other mobility required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
