Job summary

WSU Tech is seeking a knowledgeable and service-oriented IT Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and operation of computer systems, desktops, peripherals, and related technology. This position plays a critical role in ensuring reliable technology services for faculty, staff, students, and campus operations.

The ideal candidate is technically skilled, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced educational environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with computer hardware, software installation, imaging, and deployment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for hardware, software, peripherals, and classroom technology.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems and applications.
• Resolve service requests and document solutions using the IT ticketing system.
• Support audiovisual systems, events, labs, and special IT projects.
• Follow IT policies and security standards while delivering excellent customer service.
