Job summary

Prosper ISD seeks a Campus Technician to install and maintain computer equipment and network software at an assigned campus. You will diagnose issues and repair hardware, software, and AV systems, working with Technology staff to resolve problems.

The role requires strong customer service, and familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS, plus basic networking. On-site duties may include after-hours support and event coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Google Level 1 certification required or must be achieved within first year.
• Google Level 2 certification preferred.
• A+ certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Windows, Apple, and Chrome OS.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software installation.
• Basic networking and telecommunications knowledge.
• Experience installing/repairing computers and peripherals.
• K-12 environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and upgrade computers and peripherals.
• Install network cabling and assist with networking equipment.
• Install and configure software as needed.
• Provide on-site technical support for campus events.
• Maintain technical documentation and inventory.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
