Job summary

The Student Technology Specialist role at Illinois State University will provide first-level technology support to the College of Engineering by phone, email, and in person. You will assist with university-owned computers, ULID/password issues, and endpoint devices including classroom and conference room tech, e-mail, and calendaring.

Based at Campus East in Bloomington, IL, you must be flexible, team-oriented, and possess strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 2 semesters.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be available to report to ISU Campus East Location (Bloomington, IL).
• Experience or interest in Windows, MacOS/iPadOS/iOS, and Office apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technology support by phone, email, and in person.
• Support university-owned computers, ULID/password issues, and endpoint devices.
• Create concise documentation and collaborate with the IT team.
