Job summary

Collegis Education seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technology support at Caldwell University in Caldwell, NJ. You will support PC/Mac environments, AV setups for meetings and events, and end-user services across campus.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documentation of steps, and collaboration with Network and Server teams. The role requires after-hours flexibility and strong customer service in a campus setting.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or higher preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft, CompTIA A+, or other technical certificates desired.
• Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems in a corporate or campus environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technology support to students, faculty, and staff across PC, Mac, and AV equipment.
• Diagnose and repair telecom and networking issues with the Network team.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and FAQs; contribute to knowledgebase content.
• Support user accounts in Windows Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Exchange.
• Maintain inventory controls for assets including procurement and deployment.
• Be available for after-hours support during outages or urgent needs.
• Assist other IT teams on additional duties as assigned.
