Job summary

Germantown Academy is seeking an IT Support Specialist & Hardware Coordinator to deliver front-line technical support to students, faculty, and staff. You will maintain devices, manage hardware lifecycle, inventories, and deployment while coordinating repairs and procurement.

The role requires technical expertise across macOS/Windows, networking basics, and enterprise apps; strong communication and teamwork are essential for campus-wide support and events.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent; technical certification or related experience.
• Two+ years in IT support, deployment, or hardware/asset management.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint hardware, OS, networking, and classroom tech.
• Able to work independently and in a team; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line support for hardware, software, accounts, connectivity, and classroom tech.
• Document, prioritize, track, and resolve issues via help desk and other channels.
• Diagnose and repair computers, printers, displays, and AV equipment.
• Install and configure school apps and peripherals; support projectors and displays.
• Assist with tech setup for events and meetings; participate in projects.
