Job summary

University of Delaware is seeking a Computing Consultant in IT-CS for Spring 2027 in Newark, DE. As an AskIT Site Associate, you will provide frontline IT support to students, faculty and staff, handle tickets, troubleshoot software and hardware, and assist with service desk operations in Smith Hall.

You will gain hands-on experience in IT support, customer service, asset management, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate UD student eligible for work study.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in IT support.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support for students, faculty and staff.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues and assist with service desk tickets.
• Assist with asset management and inventory of loaned equipment.
• Coordinate with departments and communicate updates and procedures.
• Support poster printing, scanning, and campus tech services as needed.
