Cal Poly Maritime Academy is seeking an ITS Client Services Student Assistant (Solano Campus) to provide front-line technology support across service desks, classrooms, and campus tech spaces. The role emphasizes professional customer service and hands-on IT operations experience.

You must be enrolled at Cal Poly Maritime Academy-Solano and available to work 10–20 hours per week during term time, in-person on the Solano campus.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a Cal Poly-Solano Campus student.
• Available to work 10–20 hours per week during academic terms; up to 40 hours during breaks.
• Ability to work in-person on the Solano campus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line support via phone, email, ticketing system, and in person.
• Assist users with account access, password resets, Office 365, Wi‑Fi, and general tech questions.
• Manage service requests within the university ticketing system.
• Schedule appointments and assist with customer follow-up.
• Issue PolyCards and support equipment checkout processes.
• Deliver professional and courteous customer service.
