Job summary

Qualifications

• Three to five years in HVAC systems installation, operations and maintenance.
• Minimum of 1 year refrigeration systems experience or refrigeration training.
• DDC control experience is required.
• Experience in an institutional or campus setting.
• Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all HVAC controls and building automation systems to ensure safe, comfortable environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot control performance; perform repairs and modifications as needed.
• Lead installation, repair and preventive maintenance on campus HVAC equipment and steam distribution.
• Develop and implement energy management and HVAC system standards and specifications.
• Review plans and provide input during project design phases.
• Maintain CMMS-based maintenance programs and asset records.
• Assist in project turnover, testing and commissioning of systems and controls.
• Support IT and network infrastructure related to HVAC/refrigeration systems.
