Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and common maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Physically capable of kneeling, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying weather conditions.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet state and federal driving requirements.
• Ability to obtain required state and federal clearances.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to respond to on-call needs and emergencies.
• Committed to contributing positively to a collaborative, mission-driven school community.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and basic plumbing and electrical work.
• Maintain and service heating, cooling, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Complete minor repairs (locks, fixtures, hardware, etc.).
• Support coworkers, contractors, and campus partners as needed.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown for campus programs and special events.
• Follow all safety regulations and policies.
• Assist with snow removal, including shoveling, salting, sanding, and operating snow removal vehicles and equipment (requires 24-hour on-call availability during inclement weather).
