Job summary

The Town of Needham is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and control town HVAC systems using direct digital controllers and manual systems. The role covers Town and School buildings in a campus-style environment with many renovations since 2000.

The position requires three years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, OSHA-10, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Flexible on-call duties and a 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule are included.

Qualifications

• Three years of HVAC diagnostic/repair experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Universal certification.
• OSHA 10 Hour training completed.
• Experience with building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC control systems across town buildings.
• Order parts and manage maintenance inventory.
• Respond to emergency service calls 24/7 as needed.
• Collaborate with contractors on larger projects.
