Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Housing Advisor to support the Occupancy Management team at UT Main Campus. You will handle housing applications, contracts, and assignments using StarRez, while delivering excellent service to students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include creating occupancy reports, processing requests, and coordinating with Residence Life and Facilities. A Bachelor's degree plus clerical experience is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of clerical experience at Administrative Assistant level, or high school/GED with five years of clerical experience.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks for student entry records, housing requests, and verifications with StarRez.
• Provide exceptional customer service to families, students, staff, and visitors; respond to inquiries via phone and email.
• Maintain occupancy reports and assist with housing application/process improvements.
• Collaborate with Residence Life, Facilities, and other partners on room changes and assignments.
• Assist with information sessions and residence hall tours.
